I get to the office and the lights are only about 30 percent of their usual brightness in the entire building. They are also flickering in the most annoying way. In a windowless office this makes reading a challenge. In addition the computer is on but it won't let me log into to the network. I grade for about a couple of hours and then lug 3 paper boxes full of projects out to the car so that I can grade at home where I can see. I had hoped that I would be able to connect to WebCT from home but no luck. The students are going to have a fit but nothing I can do about it.
On the way to campus I did take a walk at Red Mill Park and added another bird, a belted kingfisher, to my life list. On the way home I tried to stop at the heron rookery but a very noisy family and extremely muddy trail made me turn back.
Now back to grading so that I can post grades once I can connect to the campus servers.
