Dear universe,

I respectfully request that all responsibilities, commitments and other adult chores be declared null and void for today. Think of how much better the world will be if you send all the world leaders back to bed for an extra 24 hour--s who cares if they have sex with interns, dress as elves or otherwise entertain themelves while there. Think of all the stressed students and teachers that could use a mental health day. Yes, dear universe, my motives are selfish as I would rather face day two of the headache from purgatory in dark silence than in the halls of the ivory tower yet I think yoiu would find wide spread support of a day off from reality.

Mighty universe I am but a tiny speck of dust on a flea on the back of dog but I beg of you please consider my request.
