The first coat day of the season has arrived -- not a jacket but a snuggly coat
On campus there is a lake effect flurry underway -- oh the flakes melt immediatley but the flurry is heavy enough to see the bits of snow without intentionally looking for them
There are now more leaves on the ground than on the trees
It is an irruptive species season which means there are numerous sightings of unusual birds
*bounce* *bounce* winter is coming, winter is coming *bounce* *bounce*
I don't think I will be able to wait until Thanksgiving to bring out the snowmen and other winter decorations. I see a simmering pot of curry and decorating in my weekend plans. Oh, and baking too -- bread, brownies, pumpkin cooked whole, so many possibilities
