• For a nice dinner (Thai)
• The sound of leaves skittering in the wind
• The wild energy of an approaching cold front on a dark evening
• The folks who offered support in some way during a very bad Tuesday; that support made it easier to deal with a problematic Wednesday
• The promise of an evening curled up with a novel
