I didn't get lost for over 90 minutes this morning. Nope I spontaneously explored the back roads of Lake and Porter County. I discovered several places to pick my own produce or buy local produce and other goodies. I discovered interesting looking nurseries.

It isn't that I spent over $700 on car repairs that I had not budgeted for the summer lean time. It is that I protected my investment and the "something is not right" feeling while driving is now gone. It also means that if worse comes to worse the car is ready for an emergency trip south to Oklahoma. No news yet on how surgery is going for my brother-in-law but they knew going in that it was likely to be at least 10-12 hours.
