I had a specific purpose for venturing into Barnes & Noble today. Honest. At last night's NIPA meeting, I met a woman who is part of a group called Soul Sisters that is based on the ideas in the book
The Millionth Circle. From what was said this sounds like a cross between Tribe (which was part of my life in Orlando) and a women's moon group that was part of my life in Baton Rouge. The person who established the group was so welcoming (she actually commented how excited she was that I was interested). Anyway, I wanted to read the book before the meeting next Saturday (it meets 1st and 3rd Saturdays at the Hobart UU Church).

On a positive note, I found the book. However, I had a headache and hadn't eaten since mid-afternoon yesterday. My resistance being severely compromised I bought some other books and several magazines (mostly cooking ones). I was a very bad destabee; there will be no cookie for me. :(
