My summer class students are bombarding me with emails. Frustrating as class does not begin until June 9. Several of them have ask if they can do the work now and "get it over with?" NO! is the answer to that.

Do I dare hope?

There have been large flat bed truck around the machine shop all morning. One is being loaded with very large pieces of machinery. This seems different than the pickups which usually occur. Could it be? Dare I hope that they are relocating? If so, I would have much cause for celebration. I would actually be able to spend time outside without fear of nasty comments from my neighbors. Not to mention the fact that I wouldn't have to navigate an obstacle course to get in and out of my driveway. All that an not having to hear them start working before 5 a.m.. I hope, I hope.
