Good morning world. Here n the northwest corner of Indiana we are in the early stages of an ice event. Overnight a dusting of snow was converted to a layer of ice on the shoevel portion of my deck and over the top and sides of my car. I had planned to go into the office to work todaybut given that the main part of the freezing precipitation is not here that does not seem prudent. Instead, I'll work from home today and go in early tomorrow to make the necessary copies.

For breaks from grading and writing exams, I plan to cook a bit and do a few things to tidy up the house at least a little bit.
