It was a nice theory

Theory: Most of most Fridays would be for research and writing.

Reality:

9:30 - 10 a.m. emails and phone calls regarding scheduling meetings and interviews for one of the two search committees on which I am serving

11:15 - 12:15 or so lunch with C to answer more getting settled questions

1 - 2 Faculty Affairs Committee meets

3- 5 Faculty Senate meeting

Sadly there is nothing unusual about my Friday schedule for this week.
