Stream of Consciousness Post

After posting yesterday, I had some yummy cheese and rosemary flat bread for lunch and then I headed off to the gym. They are closing the pool at the end of the day for repairs. It will be closed until the 8th so only one more chance before I leave for a aquatic workout. Dinner was more about using some things up than eating local so I made a lentil stew with lots of curry type spices -- it wasn't bad for simply throwing things into a pot. I read more of Animal, Vegetable, Miracle and the more I read the more I like it; it is about so much more than eating local -- it shines a light on many of the aspects of modern life that make little sense.

The weather is lovely. It is sunny and mild this morning. Not needing air conditioning on July 1st is a new experience for me. The forecast high is 76F. Sadly, I shouldn't really go off and play in the sunshine *points to the list of things to do below* but I want to. :( Shoot it looks like my internet connection just went out; hopefully it won't stay that way. I have too much to do that requires being online. It looks like it will be a day of off and on connections; I have lost and gained my connection 3 times in the last 15 minutes.

I just checked the forecasts for both here and Coolumn. If the forecasts are on target, my plants might survive my absence and the weather in Coolum looks wonderful for the time I will be there.

Yesterday's Project 365 photo is one segment of the mural on the building that houses Lifestyles (a very eclectic shop) in Valparaiso, Indiana. I have more to process later. I think this one needs to become an icon. The signs are readable if you click on the photo and choose original size.

Time to dress and head toward the office by way of either the gym or Red Mill park for a walk.
