Trying to see the good in things
Feb. 21st, 2007 06:38 amThings for which I was grateful yesterday.
1) Temperatures were above freezing and you could smell the sweet smell of damp earth.
2) Thanks to good brakes and dry roads, I did NOT hit the dear although I left a fair amount of rubber on the road when driving home.
3) J offered to play host to the candidate visiting yesterday so I didn't have to go to dinner, spend a few hours making small talk and get home late when I felt rotten.
Today begins ( this way )
