As I start my day (a day that begin wonderfully late as I don't need to leave home until 9 or even 9:30) it is a balmy 1 degree farenheit outside but the sun is shining!!!! This week has been very busy with job candidates here on Monday and again tomorrow. It is also payday for the month which always good.
I highly recommend Phillips Crab Bisque (from the frozen food section) with a pinch of 5-spice power added. Yummmyy
Several students have commented on my haircut in a positive way including some from last semester who wouldn't even need to say nice things for brownie points.
Unfornately the headache seems to be sticking around for day three.
Yesterday's happy moment was discovering that I can order Transgender Revolution for a reasonable price ($30 with shipping) so I will have access to one of the videos I like to use in teaching. Now if I can just find Mickey Mouse Monopoly, A World of Taste, Game Over, Who Plays God, and a few others. I also had a visit with a book rep who will send some possible books for me to consider for research methods in the fall.
Dream bits: I have been dreaming of falling a great deal of late. Not falling down from tall places but slipping and falling. Not surprising I guess since icy surfaces mean slipping is a very real possibility. I also dreamed of adding a bird to my life list it was a very realistic dream down to species of bird; maybe my subconscious is asking for a walk in the woods. I have also been dreaming work (e.g., giving lectures, writing, etc.) which does not make for a restful night.
Yep that pretty much wraps up the exciting state of my world. Hope the day is a good one for everyone.
