and we are off

The spring semester is out of the starting gate. This morning was a 3 hour faculty workshop. In theory there was a 30 minute gap for lunch before heading to a 2 hour search committee meeting. Lunch didn't happen. This was followed by a 90 minute hallway conversation with PC. The day wrapped up with an hour of various conversations in the department. It was a pretty good day but some I have to do better about making sure that food fits into my days. By the time I drove back toward Chesterton, I wasn't in the mood to cook so I stopped at the Thai Place for take out. I love it when a meal hits the spot just perfectly and tonight's did just that. Tomorrow there are three more meetings on my agenda.
